Many young Nepali students seek education and career opportunities abroad, driven by the perception that quality technical education and training are not available locally. This reality leaves many in our population without access to the high-quality, career-oriented technical education they need to succeed. Furthermore, the local industry often struggles to find skilled professionals due to this gap.
The Chitwan Academy for Technical Education (CATE) was established to address this critical need. Our vision is to provide exceptional technical education and training, fostering a skilled workforce ready to meet the demands of modern industry. Our commitment extends beyond education to include community engagement, industry partnerships, and continuous learning initiatives across Nepal. Our goal is to cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation within the technical education sector.
Despite the challenges of the past year, including a devastating earthquake and economic crisis, CATE has remained steadfast in its commitment to providing uninterrupted educational services. This resilience would not have been possible without the dedication of our faculty and staff, the support of our well-wishers, and the unwavering trust of our stakeholders. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you.
Looking ahead, I envision CATE as a beacon of excellence, inspiring the development of other educational institutions of international standards across Nepal. We aim to alleviate the educational burden on Kathmandu while contributing to the overall development of other regions, particularly in central Nepal.
